Dr. Charise B. Johns is an Emergency Medicine specialist based in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, TN. She completed her medical training with a residency and surgical internship at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and earned her MD from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Dr. Johns also holds a master's in Anatomy and a bachelor's in Biology from Wright State University. After practicing Emergency Medicine for over 25 years with TeamHealth at multiple healthcare systems she now owns and operates two urgent care clinics with her husband of 35 years. Previously, she served as Assistant Medical Director at Novant Health Rowan and LeConte Medical Centers. She is recognized as a Fellow (FACEP) by the American College of Emergency Physicians.
