I am a second-year internal medicine resident at the UTSW medical center. I am interested in pursuing a career in pulmonary/critical care, palliative medicine, and public health.

During medical school, I served as a student leader at a local community free. Before medical school, I completed an AmeriCorps service year with the National Health Corps at the same community free clinic

Many patients with diabetes rely on insulin to survive yet struggle to afford it even with health insurance coverage.

This scholarship supports working students

The award provides $12,500 in tuition support to sophomore students who work full or part-time to support themselves through college.
