Summary

• I believe in a collaborative approach with my patients and colleagues where together we can use the latest technologies to treat disease and improve overall quality of life. I believe medicine should be patient centered, and I strive to extensively counsel patients and develop treatment plans custom tailored to each patient’s wellness goals.
  
  I treat patients with complex hepatobiliary disease where I offer such procedures as transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS), variceal embolization, biliary drainage, tumor ablation, and tumor chemoembolization. I treat symptomatic fibroid uterus with uterine artery embolization. I treat a wide range of vascular pathologies including gastrointestinal hemorrhage, deep venous thrombosis, pulmonary artery thrombosis, portal vein thrombosis, hemoptysis, and peripheral artery disease, I use kyphoplasty to facilitate rapid return of function after vertebral compression fractures. I also manage dialysis access with fistula maintenance and peritoneal dialysis catheter placement.
  
  I have a particular interest in establishing long-term care with liver and renal failure patients where I provide ongoing counseling, collaborate with other specialties, and offer necessary treatments to optimize patient function.
