- I am a board-eligible orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine. I specialize in the treatment of knee, hip, shoulder, and elbow injuries, including: hip arthroscopy & labral repair, open and arthroscopic knee surgery, ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair & transplant, multi-ligament knee injuries, cartilage preservation/restoration, knee osteotomies, partial and total knee replacements, open and arthroscopic shoulder surgery, rotator cuff repair, shoulder stabilization/labral repair/Latarjet surgery, shoulder replacement (anatomic, reverse, and revisions), tendon and ligament repair and reconstruction, and ankle arthroscopy.
I completed my orthopaedic surgery residency training at UCLA in Los Angeles. I gained additional expertise in sports medicine surgeries through a fellowship at the world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York City, recognized by US News and World Report as the #1 hospital for Orthopedic Surgery. During this time, I served as a team physician for the New York Mets (MLB) and New York Knicks (NBA). I have contributed numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences with several awards and grants. Prior to residency and fellowship, I attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine where I was elected to the AOA Honor Medical Society, and the University of Notre Dame where I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Biological Sciences.
