Summary
- As a primary care pediatrician and clinician scientist, the goal of my clinical care and research is to improve the delivery of primary care through equity-driven family engagement for children with chronic and complex disorders. My particular interest is in children born premature and their families, who face inequities due to an intersectionality of race, disability, and income. My K23 award from the NHLBI is using mixed methods to understand the experience of Black infants with bronchopulmonary dysplasia and design health equity interventions that address both medical and social needs in primary care.
