Doctor Richardson is proud to be a board-certified dermatologist and owner of Revelus Dermatology; a medical, clinical, and surgical private practice. She consults patients of all ages for general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology needs in the greater Austin area while striving for excellent patient care and patient satisfaction. When not caring for patients, you can find her spending time with her family, out and about, and enjoying everything that the unique Austin culture has to offer.
Doctor Richardson is a born and raised Texas native. She grew up in Houston, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin Summa Cum Laude in 2003, and received her medical degree with honors from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2009.
Upon completing medical school, Doctor Richardson completed a 1-year dermatology focused internship at University Hospitals and was accepted as a dermatology resident at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve in Cleveland Ohio. During residency, Doctor Richardson served as the Chief Resident of Veterans Affairs, received the resident research award, and was published in JAMA Dermatology for her research and analysis of melanoma.
While in Cleveland, Doctor Richardson made the commitment to start a dermatology practice built on honesty, integrity, accountability, and excellent patient care. These core values, as well as a practical approach to medicine in the modern world, lead to the creation of Westgate Skin & Cancer. After two years of research, preparation, and hard work, the practice opened its doors in South Central Austin on August 4th, 2014. She’s excited to serve patients alongside friendly staff, a new office, and the latest technology. Doctor Richardson continues to accept new patients and contribute to the greater Austin community.
