- Dr. Ansermo L. Arthur is an interventional cardiologist in Aiken, South Carolina. He received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine -Tucson. He did a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Bridgeport Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital and a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Brown University College of Medicine. Dr Arthur has practiced Cardiology for over 30 years. He specializes in Interventional and Ceneral cardiology. He is experienced in vascular medicine including peripheral angioplasty and stenting, endovascular aortic aneurysm repair, and carotid artery stenting. Dr Arthur is also experienced in treating various venous diseases and, along with his partners, runs an active vein practice with venous closure, sclerotherapy, and thrombectomy in the management of pulmonary and peripheral venous thromboembolism.
