- I am a board-certified Sports Medicine/nonsurgical orthopedist with original specialty in family medicine (and I have maintained my board certification in that specialty as well). I am currently the medical director for a busy sports medicine clinic and concussion center near Charleston, South Carolina. I have worked in a variety of environments including suburban Washington DC, rural Maine, and inner city Fall River, Massachusetts. I speak Spanish and am a military veteran having been an officer in the United States Navy after my graduation from the United States Naval Academy.
