- I am a Clinical Reviewer in the Office of Neuroscience - Neurology Division II at the FDA. The Division of Neurology II regulates and reviews Investigational New Drug (IND) applications and marketing applications for drug and biologic products for the treatment of seizures, epilepsies, medical countermeasures, migraine, other headaches, traumatic brain injury, inner ear disorders, stroke, and neuroimmunologic disorders.
I previously worked as a vascular neurologist and principal investigator of a stroke research laboratory at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and held an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. I obtained my medical degree from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and trained in clinical neurology at Rambam Health Care Campus and Henry Ford Hospital. I also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in basic stroke research at Henry Ford Hospital and a vascular neurology fellowship at the NIH/NINDS.
