- I am a fully trained Surgeon from Colombia, I came to the United States and performed extra training in General Surgery for five years in New York City; additionally, I also received a specialized Fellowship training in Bariatric Surgery and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Cleveland Clinic.
I am a Board-Certified Surgeon, with a focus in Bariatric and Gastrointestinal Surgery, dedicated to excel in the surgical field presenting my work in the most important surgical meetings around the world. I am a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons ( ACS), Member of Association of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO), The Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopy Surgeons (SAGES), Society of Robotic Surgery (SRS),The International Society for Fluorescence Guide Surgery ( ISFGS), Latin American Society of Endoscopy Surgery (ALACE) and the Colombian Association of Surgery.
