She is the Principal Medical Scientist for HIV Prevention for Gilead Sciences, Inc. covering New England and Upstate NY.
Before the transition to industry in February of 2020, Dr. Demidont was the founder and the CMO of Anchor Health Initiative (AHI), a non-profit LGBTQ healthcare organization with offices and Stamford and Hamden, CT. AHI was founded with the mission to create a new LGBTQ Primary Healthcare model for Connecticut and to empower Queer people in all aspects of their lives. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Quinnipiac University's Frank H. Netter School of Medicine and serves as a member of several HIV prevention taskforces in Connecticut including Connecticut's "Getting to Zero" commission and as a member of Yale University's Center for Interdisciplinary Research on AIDS New England Implementation Science Network. She lectures for the DPH on HIV prevention strategies and the NEAETC regarding culturally competent care for TGNC Individuals and has lectured internationally on ways to improve healthcare for the LGBT community.
She hopes to expand her reach in the field of HIV prevention at Gilead and one day hopes to see the end of the HIV epidemic.
Dr. Demidont is a mother to four fur babies, avid runner, music lover, technology enthusiast, make-up and beauty product fanatic, vocal political activist, and militant psychic witch who's primary purpose in life is to leave the world a little safer for Queer than it was when she arrived.
