Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Summary:
APRN: Nationally certified licensed healthcare provider who provides primary and/or specialty nursing and/or medical care in a variety of healthcare settings. This role will practice remotely in a non-traditional clinical setting where virtual health consults will be performed in a virtual care setting (e.g., home office) using video, mobile, telephonic, and remote patient monitoring technologies. The ideal candidate is an experienced intuitive healthcare professional whose diagnostic abilities provided virtually are only matched by their concern for their patients. The candidate is adept in the use of virtual platforms and advanced healthcare technology. The NP functions in collaboration with a physician according to an established APRN protocol agreement. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems. Certifications may include acute care or family.

Required Minimum Education:
Graduate of an A.R.C. approved Physician Assistant Education Program or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Program. Required
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):
All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
- Cert Nurse Practitioner
- Cert Ped Nurse Prac - PC
- Active GA, AL, FL, NC, SC, TN, VA license
Additional License(s) and Certification(s):
Qualify for and maintain privileges to practice at facilities per medical staff guideline Upon Hire Required
Current state licensure to practice as a Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
APRN Current certification by the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) Upon Hire Required
American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Upon Hire Required
DEA Registration Number Upon Hire Required
Required Minimum Experience:
Minimum 3 years Experience with direct patient care in a physician practice, emergency department, urgent care, or other ambulatory setting with both adult and pediatric experience (including infants). Required
Minimum 1 year Working in a telehealth/virtual care setting. Required
Must be comfortable working nights, 7p-7
Required Minimum Skills:
Demonstrated leadership skills and knowledge.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively in multi-specialty medical groups.
Excellent communication skills verbal, written, listening, and presentation along with the confidence to favorably represent the organization in both formal and informal settings.
