Hematology/Oncology Locum Tenens: Mon-Fri, No Inpatient Calls, Maryland

Join our team as a Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum tenens opportunity, offering a balanced schedule and supportive environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
• Rotating weekend call every 4-5 weekends

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient and outpatient care
• No in-person inpatient calls or rounding on weekends
• Support from 10 RNs, 5 MAs, and 3 PA/NPs

Procedures and Cases:

• Approximately 14 patients per shift
• Call responsibilities include 2nd call/backup with a 30-minute response time

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology
• Active MD license required; DE license preferred
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS certifications required

Credentialing Requirements:

• Temporary privileges available
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days
• Facility reimburses licensing costs
