  • The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) is proud to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Staff Vascular Surgeon to join our esteemed team. Duties include:

    • Provide direct patient care in outpatient clinic settings, inpatient units, cath lab, and operative care.
    • Maintain professional competency, courtesy and flexibility and provide the necessary services of this specialty.
    • Perform all aspects of Vascular Surgery within approved credentials and privileges.
    • Participate in program planning, objectives, policies, and standards essential to delivery of quality care.
    • Participate in all aspects of the Vascular selection.
    • Manage patient workload within available staffing, which may include support of mid-levels, student, and resident education.
    • Appropriately documents own interventions and reviews appropriate health team documentation of patient treatment plans and involve the primary care provider when indicated to treat changes in the patient's condition.
    • Recognizes complex situations that impact patient care and intervenes, using sound judgment, professional attitude, and appropriate channels.

    Compensation Details

    $350-400k
