SSM Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team in St. Charles County, Missouri. The FNP will provide high-quality primary care services to patients of all ages, emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including patient histories, physical exams, and diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
• Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state regulations and practice guidelines
• Provide preventive care, including routine check-ups, immunizations, and health education
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and families on managing medical conditions and promoting healthy lifestyles
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program
• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Missouri
• Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of (AANP)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care setting preferred
• Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Work Environment:

• Full-time position with regular office hours
• May require occasional evening or weekend shifts based on patient needs
