    Position Overview:

    As an OB/GYN Hospitalist, you will provide high-level care for obstetric and gynecologic patients in the inpatient setting. This position focuses on inpatient labor and delivery care, providing consultative services, and supporting the overall health and wellness of women in the community.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Managing labor and delivery, including assisting with deliveries, performing C-sections, and emergency procedures.
    • Providing 24/7 obstetric and gynecologic care in a collaborative hospitalist model.
    • Responding to emergencies such as obstetric complications, bleeding, and other urgent issues.
    • Delivering care to both low-risk and high-risk obstetric patients.
    • Consultative care for gynecologic patients, including emergency gynecologic procedures.
    • Collaborating with a team of specialists, including anesthesiologists, pediatricians, and neonatologists.
    • Providing education and support to patients, families, and medical staff.
    • Participating in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • Board Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
    • Active and unrestricted Georgia Medical License (or eligibility to obtain).
    • Prior experience in OB/GYN, preferably in a hospitalist or inpatient setting, is a plus.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities.
