💼 Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Level I nursery at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital
- Attend deliveries and provide in-hospital pediatric support
- Collaborate with OB and nursing teams to ensure optimal newborn outcomes
- Mentor and supervise Pediatric Nurse Practitioners
- Help drive initiatives around quality improvement, patient safety, and family-centered care
🎓 Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Active NYS medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in newborn nursery care and delivery attendance required
- Prior supervisory experience preferred, but not required
- A natural team leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for providing patient-centered, compassionate care

**PAY RANGE:** $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
