Hackensack Meridian Health, Ocean University Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE fellowship trained Neonatologist to join our Faculty Practice team in Brick, New Jersey. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a collegial group in a supportive environment and work with great colleagues and residents.

Opportunity Highlights:

  1. 5 bed level II special care nursery.
  2. In house coverage, 24 hours. On call 7-8 times per month (including 2 weekends) depending on schedule.
  3. Opportunity for Level III coverage at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
  4. Our Level III C Children’s hospital has an average daily census of 38-44, has 4,000 deliveries, with 700 admissions a year in the NICU.
  5. Work with an experienced team of neonatologists, respiratory therapists, dedicated neonatal pharmacist and dietician, RNs, and support staff.
  6. Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine service, surgical and subspecialty services.
  7. Opportunity for academic appointment with Hackensack School of Medicine.
  8. Research and quality improvement opportunities
  9. Participate in divisions' educational lectures.

Requirements Include:

  1. Current New Jersey Medical License
  2. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neonatology
  3. Medical degree from a recognized medical school
  4. Ability to interface effectively with professional personnel
