Our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute seeks to hire a full-time Fellowship-trained, Women's Imaging Radiologist to lead the Breast Imaging services at City of Hope in Irvine, CA, Lennar Foundation which will be the site of our new hospital in 2025. At City of Hope Orange County, you are joining the county’s only hospital exclusively focused on treating and curing cancer. Position Highlights:

  • Modalities: interpret mammography, ultrasound, and breast MRI, DEXA, and perform all breast-related procedures such as localization, ultrasound and stereotactic biopsies, MRI-guided biopsies
  • Cancer referral center with a high number of diagnostic workup and relatively smaller population of asymptomatic screening
  • Participate in clinical research trials such as I-SPY
  • Work closely with other members of breast care clinic. Regularly participate and present case in weekly breast tumor boards and provide consultation for oncologist and surgeon
  • Full-time working within an established team of radiologists and nurses at a world-renowned national cancer system. Leadership role available for the right candidate.

  • Base Salary Range: $475K-$525K based on rank, experience, and academic research. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits which are substantial. Actual compensation will also be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

Qualifications

  • In addition to breast imaging expertise, applicant should possess general radiology skills, including x-ray and ultrasound
  • Experience working in an academic medical center or specialty cancer center, is highly desirable
  • Academic record consistent with appointment as Assistant or early career Associate Professor, preferred
  • Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree
  • Have or be willing and eligible to obtain U.S. NRC (United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission) license
  • The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license
