  • The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) are jointly recruiting a full-time clinical faculty member specializing in clinical care of patients with hematologic malignancies and myeloma. This position will be at the Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate level commensurate with experience and qualifications in the Clinical Research Division of the Fred Hutch and the Division of Hematology and Oncology at UW.

     

    · The Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies group is committed to providing outstanding patient care, advanced by cutting edge research trials.

    · Focus primarily on ambulatory clinical care of patients with hematologic malignancies and myeloma at a world-renowned comprehensive cancer center.

    · Recruit and care for patients involved in clinical trials

    · Teaching responsibilities involve oversight of trainees during outpatient and inpatient clinical activities, and lectures.

    · Position is based at the South Lake Union main campus with the possibility of seeing patients at one of Fred Hutch’s community clinics.

    · The primary, annual appointment will be in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch. The position will report to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutch and the Division Head of Hematology and Oncology.

    Qualifications

    Applicants must have:

    · MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent)

    · Completion of a fellowship in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology and American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) eligible or certified in Medical Oncology (or foreign equivalent)

    · Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington.

     

    The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record in clinical care with a primary focus on hematologic malignancies and myeloma.

    Compensation Details

    $306-350k

    The annual base salary range for this position is from $306,000.00 to $315,000.00 for faculty hired at the Clinical Assistant Professor rank, and from $340,000.00 to $350,000.00 for faculty hired at the Clinical Associate Professor rank. This position is incentive eligible. Pay for Faculty positions is based on a variety of factors, including degree, specialty, clinical practice and experience. This position is eligible for relocation assistance and/or sign-on bonus.
