Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician (Perinatologist)

The Company: Our client is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice located in Columbus GA, providing specialized fetal assessments, and consultation for mothers with high-risk pregnancy concerns.

The Position: A Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician focuses on the treatment and on-going care of women who have a high risk of problems during pregnancy. This includes patients with a history of history of previous complicated pregnancies, chronic health conditions, or medical issues that arise unexpectedly.

• $450,000 - $550,000 Per Year Depending on Experience

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years at an accredited medical school.
• Minimum 4 years of residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Completion of a 3-year MFM Fellowship
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM)
• Must be credentialed with Georgia Medicaid

Responsibilities:

• Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm)
• Rounding and On Call Rotation
• Manage maternal-fetal complications according to protocol.
• Provide appropriate prenatal and postpartum education and management for women with low and high-risk pregnancies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on high-risk OB patients and function as an essential member of the Perinatology team.
