Locum Anesthesiologist in Pennsylvania
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: Indefinite with rotational assignments across 4 campuses
Key Duties:
- Rotate across all sites, including OB.
- Provide anesthesia for all types of cases except for hearts and neonates.
- Perform general, MAC, regional, and post-op blocks.
- Medically direct CRNAs for all cases.
Requirements:
- Ability to manage a 3:1 or sometimes 4:1 case ratio.
- Inpatient and outpatient coverage.
- Strong anesthesia skills across a wide range of cases.
Schedule & Hours:
- Full-time, 5 days per week as available.
- Shifts of 8 or 10 hours.
- Call is negotiable for experienced candidates (12 or 24-hour shifts with post-call day off).
Volume:
- Very busy service with 70,000–80,000 cases per year.
Supporting Staff:
- CRNAs are provided for all cases. Medically directed by the anesthesiologist.
