Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment to assigned new patients or coverage for existing patients within any of the Tides of Mind offices and Comprehensive Psychiatric Care offices as needed
- Establish appropriate clinical diagnosis and update as needed
- Provide ongoing E/M medication management services to assigned caseload of patients
- Knowledge of CPT codes to accurately document services billed to insurance
- Maintain schedule according to established productivity guidelines as outlined in the employment agreement
- Provide referrals to community resources as appropriate
- Discharge clients as clinically indicated
- Review client charts for accuracy and completeness at required intervals
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner, and keep detailed and accurate documentation of interventions with patients
- Participate with the multidisciplinary team in the development and review of treatment planning and case assignment as needed
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external colleagues and referral sources
- Participate in periodic trainings
Required Qualifications:
- Clear, active and unrestricted RN license and APRN license in the state of practice
- Have an MSN or DNP
- Ability to be successfully added to all insurance panels
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of psychiatric nursing experience
- Experience with medication management
- Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness
Connecticut Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
