Part-Time Telepsychiatry - Outpatient

Amwell Medical Group (AMG) is seeking board certified psychiatrists to join the team on a contract basis to diagnose and treat patient referrals. Providers will join a team of other psychiatrists and serve in a clinical role on a part-time basis. This would include providing online psychiatric initial evaluations and medication management follow-up visits to patients on AMG's video based, HIPAA compliant, telehealth platform. You will have the full support of AMG’s clinical practice group as well as AMG’s 24/7 technical support team in your work on the platform.

This is a work from home position. Appointments are scheduled in advance, based on the availability set in the platform by the provider. Providers would be required to schedule 15 hours per week but are in complete control of the hours they choose to work – see clients morning or evening, weekday or weekend, whatever works best for you! Initial visits are 45 minutes in length and follow-up visits are 15 minutes in length.

AMG will also purchase a set of licenses for providers that are participating in our part-time program.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Psychiatry (in good standing with Medical Board)
• Hold an active, unrestricted state medical license
• Hold an active, unrestricted DEA license
• Living in the United States
• MD or DO

Essential Job Functions:

• Performs psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Work as an independently contracted physician for a minimum of 15 hours per week
• Evaluates for general medical health and makes referrals for medical follow-up
