  • Lead & inspire the next generation of sports medicine physicians at UT Tyler! We seek a BC/BE, fellowship-trained Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician to direct our established fellowship program.

    Responsibilities:

    · Lead & Inspire: Direct the Sports Medicine Fellowship Program, fostering a thriving learning environment.

    · Educate & Mentor: Lecture, supervise, teach, and mentor fellows, residents, and students in various clinical settings.

    · Provide Expert Care: Deliver patient care using a multi-disciplinary approach.

    · Advance the Field: Participate in scholarly activities and research.

    · Team Coverage: Provide athletic team coverage.

    · Collaborate & Innovate: Work with faculty to ensure a strong training program; utilize advanced techniques and therapies.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in graduate medical education (required).
    • Board Certified in primary specialty (Family Medicine, PM&R, Internal Medicine).
    • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Primary Care Sports Medicine.
    • Minimum of one-year fellowship in primary care sports medicine.
    • Musculoskeletal ultrasound experience/training (required).
    • Unrestricted Texas MD or DO license or ability to obtain one.
    • ACGME Residency graduate.
