  • We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide primary medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care needs. As a Family Physician with our FQHC, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our diverse patient population.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Deliver care appropriate for an outpatient, primary care FQHC with a multicultural, multilingual patient population.

    · Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.

    · Prescribe medication in accordance with the Pennsylvania statue and professional practice guidelines.

    · Provide quality care to patients according to clinical medical protocols and funding source guidelines.

    · Promotes health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease.

    · Instruct patients and family regarding medications, treatment instructions, and provide patient education.

    · Triage patient telephone calls and provide consultation.

    · Perform thorough evaluations and assessments of patients presenting with general health and sports-related concerns.

    · Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient, incorporating evidence-based practices and the latest advancements in primary care.

    · Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, and other specialists, to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.

    · Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and diagnostic test results, in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

    · Stay informed about advancements in primary care and family medicine research, technology, and treatment modalities through ongoing continuing education and professional development activities.

    · Performs other job duties as assigned.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    · Medical degree from an accredited medical school.

    · Board certification in Family Medicine.

    · Completion of a Family Medicine residency program.

    · Current state medical license.

    · DEA registration.

    · Excellent clinical skills and diagnostic acumen.

    · Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    · Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

    · Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

    · Proficiency in musculoskeletal ultrasound and other point-of-care diagnostic techniques.

    · Dedication to promoting health and wellness in the community.

    · Experience in electronic health records.
