    The Hampton Veteran Affairs (VA) Medical Center is growing-to a new clinic in Chesapeake, VA!

    If you love the beach, enjoy music/art, and appreciate the military-look no further & come care for veterans as a Primary Care Physician at the Hampton VA Medical Center!

    Our Provider will be based out of the main Hampton VA Medical Center hospital and leading a multidisciplinary team (also called Patient Aligned Care Teams-PACTs) as we provide the best whole-health care for veterans in an outpatient setting!

    The patient pool for our Primary Care Physician is 1200 assigned veterans with an allotted daily patient load of 13. Weekly load allocates 30-hours dedicated to face-to-face care.

    The weekly schedule also allows for a full half-day for administrative time, and one-hour on all other days. Each PACT is also assigned an RN, LPN, and administrative support/scheduler.

    We do have special opportunities for pools of patients to be dedicated to either all geriatrics or women's health.

    This position requires no call coverage and has an ideal Monday through Friday workday (8-4:30 pm) with an opportunity for a compressed schedule (4 x 10-hour days).

    This position is eligible for our Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) which allows for up to $200K in loan repayment over a 5-year period.
