Opportunity Details

Medicus is working with hospitals in eastern Georgia with a openings for an Emergency Medicine physician to provide locum coverage.

Location 1 Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, days and nights
• Annual Volume: 55,000 patients
• ED Beds: 36
• Support Staff: APPs
• Subspecialty Support: Radiology, cardiopulmonary, ortho, neuro, oncology, bariatrics, robotic surgery, women's services
• Will respond to Radiology codes

Location 2 Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days and nights
• Annual Volume: 12,000 patients
• ED Beds: 14
• Support Staff: APPs
• Subspecialty Support: Teleneuro, radiology on a limited basis
• Will respond to all codes

Location 3 Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days and nights
• Annual Volume: 20,000 patients
• ED Beds: 14
• Support Staff: APPs
• Subspecialty Support: Cardiopulmonary, infusion, radiology, surgical services
• Will respond to Radiology codes

Opening Details:

• EMR: Epic
• Board certification required
• Paid travel & lodging
