  • Phoenix Children’s has initiated a national search for an innovative clinical and academic leader to serve as the inaugural Division Chief of Allergy and Immunology. This role will lead a large and growing

    Division currently consisting of 7 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers.

    This is an extraordinary opportunity for a physician leader to join one of the largest pediatric health systems in the nation, in the fifth-largest city, with a growing and exceptionally diverse patient population.

    Job Details

    1. The Division Chief must have an MD or MD/PhD degree be board-certified in Allergy and Immunology
    2. They must provide documentation of achieved accomplishments along with demonstrated proof of mentorship, leadership and scholarship in Allergy and/or Immunology.
    3. The successful candidate must possess effective interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills.
    4. The Division Chief will also be an accomplished clinician with excellent administrative, diagnostic, teaching and research skills who will assume a leadership position within this rapidly growing institution.
    5. The chosen candidate will participate in strategic planning to ensure the care offered in the division keeps pace with treatment advancements and our growing community.
    6. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to work with our Phoenix Children’s Foundation to build impactful connections within our community.
    7. It is also expected that the candidate will be eligible for academic appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level of our affiliated medical schools and active involvement in resident, fellow and medical student teaching through affiliated programs with University of Arizona is expected.
