    MaineHealth Pediatrics is seeking a Full-Time BC/BE Pediatrician to provide care at our office based MaineHealth Pediatric Practice with inpatient rounding located in Farmington, Maine.

    The successful candidate will join a team of three Pediatricians and two Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, with inpatient call responsibilities with the other members of the group. The practice has a 4-day work week with a mix of office and Inpatient rounding in collaboration with an experienced team of physicians and highly skilled clinical staff. The local medical community provides excellent collegial interaction and referral relationships. In addition to an annual base salary, the compensation model for physicians at MaineHealth offers significant additional income potential. Call requirements are 1:5 and the position offer teaching opportunities of nurse practitioners/physician assistants as well as medical students from University of New England’s UNECOM program and Tufts University Medical School program.

    MaineHealth Franklin Hospital is a 25-bed, critical access hospital with a 50-member medical staff, with patient volume drawing from a wide geographic region with 40,000 people. Deliveries are performed in a modern hospital birthing unit with a full staff of OB/GYN providers, and the hospital is equipped with the latest ultrasound and multi-detector CT scanners as well as state-of-the-art operative laparoscopy equipment.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    1. MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
    2. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
    3. PALS and NRP certifications.
    4. Prior experience with nursery call and inpatient peds preferred.
