Preceptor Opportunity for OBGYNs in Florida or surrounding states

About the role:

Join AMOpportunities (AMO) as a preceptor and mentor the next generation of healthcare professionals! AMO partners with schools and medical trainees worldwide to provide high-quality clinical rotations in OBGYN and other specialties.

We are currently seeking Florida-based OBGYNs to host students in your practice. Preceptors can tailor the experience to their practice’s needs and schedule while inspiring the future of women’s health. AMO takes care of all marketing, application collection, clinical trainee support, and administrative logistics so you can focus on teaching and mentoring.

This is a contracted position, with preceptors earning stipends upon successful completion of a trainee's program.

Preceptor Responsibilities:

• Precept a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Facilitate clinical learning through observation, patient interactions, didactic sessions, case presentations, and/or research.
• Ensure all patient-related activities are supervised and adhere to AMO’s professional standards.
• Complete and submit school-required documents such as evaluations, forms, and affiliation agreements.
• Design a program that integrates seamlessly with your practice's workflow and availability.
• Ensure all observation or hands-on activities involving patients are supervised
• Timely responsiveness of requests and required school documents (affiliations, evaluations, forms etc.)
• Able to ensure school affiliation agreements can get signed by a signing authority
• Adhere to AMO & AMO’s school partners standards of professionalism as outlined in our affiliation agreement

Qualifications:

• Licensed OBGYN physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner in Florida or neighboring states.
• Board-certified (or PA-C status) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to guide and mentor medical trainees with professionalism.

Compensation:

• Part time, stipends start at $250/wk/student – Medical Students
• $125/wk/student – PA students
• Hourly for nursing and other student types available
