Lahey Hospital and Medical Center (a founding member of Beth Israel Lahey Health) is offering a position for a Glaucoma Specialist to join our Division of Ophthalmology. We are a physician-led, multi-disciplinary group practice of more than 600 doctors. Our two hospitals (Burlington and Peabody) and multiple satellite clinics are located in the northern and western suburbs of Boston. The area provides excellent school systems, abundant cultural activities, and convenient access to the mountains and seacoast.

The successful applicant will join a dynamic ophthalmology service with 16 comprehensive and subspecialty ophthalmologists and 8 optometrists. We are a teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine, and a part of the residency teaching program of Tufts Medical Center. Our MDs qualify for academic appointments at Tufts University School of Medicine. Our division also has longstanding teaching and service relationships with ophthalmology programs in Egypt, Turkey, and El Salvador.
The successful candidate will be expected to take part in resident teaching and collaborate with colleagues on clinical, academic, and administrative projects. Research interests are welcomed and supported, though not a requirement for this position.
