  • Job Summary: We are looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Dermatologist to join our team in a part-time capacity. This position will involve diagnosing and treating various dermatological conditions, ranging from routine skin issues to more complex cases. You will provide expert care for conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, and other skin disorders, working in a collaborative, supportive environment.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive dermatological care to patients of all ages, including diagnosis and treatment of a variety of skin conditions.
    • Perform routine skin exams, including screening for skin cancer and other dermatologic diseases.
    • Offer treatment for acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, fungal infections, and other common dermatologic conditions.
    • Conduct minor dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and laser treatments.
    • Educate patients on proper skin care, preventative measures, and treatment options.
    • Work closely with primary care providers and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
    • Document patient interactions and treatment plans in the hospital’s electronic medical records (EMR) system.
    • Stay up to date with the latest dermatology treatments and practices through continuing education.

     

    Qualifications:

    • MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in Dermatology.
    • Current, unrestricted medical license in Wisconsin (or eligibility for licensure in Wisconsin).
    • Strong clinical skills and the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatologic conditions.
    • Experience with or interest in rural healthcare settings.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Compassionate, community-oriented mindset.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with rural healthcare challenges and resource limitations.
    • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems. EPIC experience a plus.
    • Interest in community education, and outreach.
