Overview

The Woodlands - Houston area - Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist needed

Responsibilities We have an exciting job opportunity for a top-notch, experienced, per diem Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist to join our well-established practice at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands.

  • Hospitalist will cover Newborn Nursery and Pediatric Unit
  • Pediatric Unit is 6 general pediatric beds, no IMU, no ICU
  • No delivery attendance, procedures include lumbar punctures and circumcisions
  • Nursery is a busy service with an average daily sensus of 20-25 infants
  • Practice responsibilities iniclude medical strudent and family practice residency training
  • Shifts are 24 hours rounding plus call at night

Qualifications

  • Board Certification in Pediatrics with recent experience required
  • Active TX license or active IMLC required
