    Purpose: Provide quality medical services under the Chief Medical Officer's supervision.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Diagnose and treat patients.
    2. Supervise mid-level providers and support staff.
    3. Review lab and x-ray results.
    4. Complete EHR and medical records.
    5. Participate in patient education and staff training.
    6. Meet quality care standards.
    7. Provide virtual care.
    8. Manage primary care patients.
    9. Use office equipment efficiently.
    10. Work assigned shifts, including evenings and weekends.
    11. Stay updated on medical advancements.
    12. Uphold Ampla Health’s culture and values.
    13. Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Qualities:

    1. Maintain professional relationships and a positive attitude.

    Requirements:

    1. MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
    2. Valid California Physician and Surgeon License.
    3. Board Certified or Board eligible.
    4. Current CPR certification.
    5. Sensitivity to diverse patients.
    6. Knowledge of clinic protocols.

    Communication Skills:

    1. Clear, legible handwriting.
    2. Courteous interaction with patients and staff.
    3. Effective public communication.

    Working Conditions:

    1. Good health; able to lift 40 lbs and push 100 lbs.
    2. Stand for most of the day.
    3. Adequate hearing and vision.
    4. High manual dexterity.
    5. Able to reach, bend, squat, and sit.
    6. Exposure to pathogens and infectious diseases.
