    Tasks & Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, medical histories, physical exams, observations, and psychological testing.
    • Analyze assessment data to diagnose patients and formulate treatment plans.
    • Prescribe and manage medications tailored to individual diagnoses, monitoring for efficacy and potential side effects.
    • Develop and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure progress.
    • Provide crisis intervention as necessary and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and refine treatment approaches.
    • Coordinate care with case managers and external stakeholders, offering referrals and education to patients and families.
    • Deliver virtual outpatient psychiatric services when required.

    Requirements:

    • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
    • Maryland licensure. 

    • • Willingness to become licensed in DC, Virginia, or other covered geographies.
