PRN Psychiatrists Needed in Washington DC Area

We're offering PRN roles across multiple locations, providing you with flexibility and diverse opportunities to make a difference in psychiatric care. Some of our inpatient shifts are conducted virtually!

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, medical histories, physical exams, observations, and psychological testing.
• Analyze assessment data to diagnose patients and formulate treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage medications tailored to individual diagnoses, monitoring for efficacy and potential side effects.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure progress.
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and refine treatment approaches.
• Coordinate care with case managers and external stakeholders, offering referrals and education to patients and families.
• Deliver virtual outpatient psychiatric services when required.

Requirements:

• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Maryland licensure. 

• • Willingness to become licensed in DC, Virginia, or other covered geographies.
