Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:

Seeking a BC/BE full-time physician to work with a growing inpatient service at a vibrant 500-bed safety-net community hospital in Everett, Washington, about 30 miles north of Seattle. The team is composed of 80+ providers. The hospital has a robust multidisciplinary staff that supports all inpatient work, including subspecialists, pharmacists, social workers, respiratory and physical therapists, palliative care, etc. This position enjoys a hospitalist schedule of 14-17 shifts per month, with no more than 3 night shifts per year. The average daily census ranges between 14-18 patients per shift. The most desirable candidate would have a solid medicine background (internal medicine).

Required Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted WA State Medical License (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Current WA DEA certificate (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Board Certified Internal Medicine (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • EMR proficient
  • Proven positive attitude and solid work ethic
  • Proven self-starter with ability to practice with a high degree of independence
  • Proven solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both shifts on a full-time basis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience
  • Managed Care and Medi-Cal experience

Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $288,631 to $385,254 annually. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
