Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership: Provide guidance and oversight to OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and patient safety standards.
- Operational Management: Oversee departmental operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and policy development, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Quality Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance patient outcomes through continuous quality improvement processes and adherence to clinical guidelines.
- Education and Training: Develop and implement educational programs for medical students, residents, and staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with hospital leadership to set departmental goals and contribute to the institution's strategic initiatives, aligning with the organization's mission and vision.
- Community Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with referring physicians and community health leaders to promote the OB/GYN services offered by UMMC.

Oversee strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and operational initiatives for the OB/GYN department, driving measurable outcomes in quality, efficiency, and satisfaction. What You Bring
- Board Certification: Required in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Licensure: Active New York State medical license (or eligibility).
- Certifications: Current certifications in Advanced Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and any other relevant OB/GYN certifications.
- Experience: 3-5 years of clinical experience in OB/GYN required. Leadership experience in a high-volume obstetric setting preferred.
- Commitment: Passion for delivering exceptional maternal and reproductive care and inspiring teams to excel under your leadership.
- Vision: A focus on quality, patient safety, and innovation to drive improvements in OB/GYN care and patient outcomes.
- Collaboration: Ability to build strong partnerships within the healthcare system, including with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, nursing staff, and the broader community.

Compensation Details
$250-300k

PAY RANGE: $250,000.00 - $300,000.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
