The ideal candidate will possess a robust clinical background in Anesthesiology, complemented by proven leadership experience and a passion for advancing medical standards. As the Anesthesiology Medical Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and mentoring a team of talented anesthesiologists and CRNAs.

Sentara Obici Hospital is a 175-bed state of the art, full-service facility in Suffolk, Virginia. The hospital specializes in orthopedics and spine, heart and vascular, maternity, weight loss surgery, gynecological and comprehensive breast services and behavioral health.

Position Highlights:

· Employed position with Sentara Anesthesiology Specialists.

· Annual Base Salary - $500,000 with additional earning potential.

· Annual Quality Performance Incentive - $15k.

· Sign on/Commencement Bonus - $70K.

· 10 weeks paid annual leave for excellent work/life balance.

· Paid Malpractice with Tail Insurance.

· Annual CME Allowance - $7,5000.
