Shasta Community Health Center (SCHC) is seeking a mission-driven MD/DO physician to join its team in Redding, California. About the Role

You’ll provide comprehensive health services including patient assessments, diagnostics, treatment planning, and follow-up care. As an integral part of the SCHC team, you’ll also participate in Medical Staff/MD/DO meetings and contribute to ongoing clinical quality improvement.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform histories, physical exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans.
• Refer to specialists as needed and stay within scope of practice.
• NP/PA collaboration
• Participate in home telephone call rotation 2 weeks per year, weekend paid urgent care shifts, and team meetings.
• Optional inpatient and OB care (if applicable).
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain productivity goals.

• 17-20 patients per day depending on specialty

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from accredited program
• Active CA medical license (or eligibility)
• Board certified or board eligible
• Current CPR/BLS (ACLS/PALS optional)
• Outpatient experience with underserved populations preferred
• In good standing with CA Medical Board
