Locums OBGYN needed in Brooklyn, NY

Specialty Needed: OB Laborist

Schedule:

24 hour in house call shifts; open to 15 hour shifts; no outpatient

Dates of Need:

Need 4-8 in house shifts per month; open to reviewing 12s; Need coverage ASAP and would like locums up and running ASAP for at least 3-6 months

Why the Need?

Have had an OBGYN get let go recently, other perms are getting burnt out

Required Procedures/Cases:

Deliveries and C-Sections; GYN surgery would be rare

Volume of patients on average per day:

# of deliveries: 1350/year

Support Staff:

OBGYNs in group but only 1 on call each shift; CNM support; MFM support; GYN on call

Required Certifications:

BLS, ACLS required; BC preferred but willing to be flexible depending on candidate

Hospital Information:

High acuity; more than 238 beds, short term acute care hospital
