  • Guthrie is seeking candidates for a BC/BE Radiation Oncologist to join our growing oncology service line in Corning, NY.

    Highlights of the Position

    1. Integrated clinical trials capabilities in radiation oncology and oncology
    2. Collaborative multi-specialty practice with strong referral base and a busy medical oncology practice
    3. Patient Navigation and Social Worker services available
    4. Full time palliative care consultation service
    5. Comprehensive cancer site specific weekly tumor conferences
    6. American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and American College of Radiation Oncology certified
    7. Member of the Mayo Clinic network with full access to electronic second opinions (including radiation oncology, oncology, surgical oncology, pathology, and radiology)
    8. Varian linear accelerators at 3 clinical sites with capability for VMAT, SRS and SBRT (HIGRT)
    9. HDR brachytherapy via Varian remote after-loader
    10. Robust LDR brachytherapy and SpaceOAR programs for prostate cancer
    11. ARIA oncology information system with Eclipse treatment planning system (with ClearCheck and EZFluence software)
    12. Robust EHR used in all areas (Epic 10-star health system, top 1% of Epic organizations)

    2. Ability to obtain/maintain Pennsylvania and New York state license
    3. BC/BE in Radiation Oncology
