Overview: Kaiser Permanente is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Internal Medicine Obesity Medicine Physician to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive care for patients dealing with obesity and its related health issues, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to treatment. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with obesity-related health concerns.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including lifestyle modifications, pharmacotherapy, and, when appropriate, referrals.
- Provide ongoing medical management and support to patients, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and adjusting as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including dietitians, psychologists, and other specialists, to provide holistic care.
- Educate patients and their families on the health risks associated with obesity and the benefits of weight loss and healthy living.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational guidelines.

Schedule: Full-Time Salary Range: $297,000.00 to $382,887.00 Potential Premium Earnings: $22,968.00
