Job Summary:
Are you passionate about advancing our understanding of the female reproductive tract and pioneering innovative treatments for gynecologic and obstetric diseases? We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a tenure-track faculty member.
In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to lead a groundbreaking research program focusing on both benign and malignant disorders of the female reproductive system. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in conditions such as preeclampsia, polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cancer, and other gynecologic malignancies.
You will leverage cutting-edge primate and mammalian models to explore fundamental biological processes, using this knowledge to develop transformative approaches for early detection, treatment, and clinical management. Your work will contribute to a world-renowned, extramurally funded translational research program, elevating the field and improving patient outcomes globally.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience as a postdoctoral fellow working in the field of biomolecular physiology, together with first-hand experience in developing and submitting grants to the NIH and other funding agencies. Candidates who have already secured extramural funding and have developed a strong history of publications in peer-reviewed journals will be preferred.
Candidates for Associate Professor (Tenure) or Professor (Tenure) must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the Tenure track.
Education:
Required
Terminal Degree
PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in life sciences with emphasis in oncology research and/or reproductive sciences.
