Phoenix Children’s houses the state’s only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. In addition, we just opened a state-of-the-art ED in Avondale and have more openings soon!

We have 43 PEM-trained providers, 13 Pediatricians, and 31 APPs. We are hiring PEM-certified or eligible providers to staff both the main ED and the Avondale location and non-PEM providers for a combination of lower acuity ED patients and Urgent Care patients.
