  • AMN Healthcare is actively seeking a board-certified Neurosurgeon for a locum weekend call coverage opportunity starting at the end of May. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team in one of the busiest Level II trauma centers in the state of Arkansas.

    • Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, Friday - Sunday, every 3rd weekend of the month (7 AM - 7 AM)
    • Duties: Call coverage, hospital rounding on existing patients, and handling trauma/emergency cases from the ER.
    • Facility: Inpatient setting with support from 2 Neurosurgeons and 2 APRNs
    • EMR System: EPIC
    • Patient Volume: Average 10 or fewer patients per day
    • Procedures: Mix of cranial and spine cases (50/50 split)
    • Trauma Cases: Brain and spine trauma
    • No endovascular requirements
    • Board Certification: Required (BC Neurosurgery)
    • Arkansas Medical License: Required
    • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA, NRP (Confirm specific requirements)
    • Residency/Fellowship: Not required
    • Credentialing Timeline: 30-60 days
