Collaborating Physician Opportunity with MinuteClinic Providers

MinuteClinic is working to advance healthcare by making quality care accessible to all communities that we serve. Our evidence-based approach is designed to improve the patients’ experience, foster health equity, and improve access to quality care.

 

We are actively seeking board-certified Family Medicine physicians (or dual board-certified  Internal Medicine/ Pediatrics), for collaborating physician roles with MinuteClinic providers in the states of North Carolina, Texas, Ohio, and Florida. Physicians with multi-state licenses are encouraged to inquire.

 

Scope of Responsibility:

· Timely response to requests for collaboration from MinuteClinic NPs & PAs in accordance with Company policy.

· Build and maintain a collaborative work environment; the ideal candidate will enjoy providing education and mentoring to NPs & PAs. 

· NPs and PAs will be solely responsible for in person evaluation and delivery of care; there is no direct patient to physician care responsibilities. 

· Enter into and comply with collaborative practice agreements with NPs/PAs; comply with all applicable statutes, rules and regulations related to collaborative practice. 

· Perform chart reviews and provide feedback as required by Company, state, and federal laws.

· Provide feedback to MinuteClinic clinical teams to ensure the highest standards of clinical quality and care delivery.

· Review clinical guidelines on an annual basis or upon updates to clinical guidelines.

· Currently eligible for participation with government payers (Medicare/Medicaid).

· Hold DEA license(s) or willingness to obtain a DEA license(s) across single or multiple states of practice. 

· Full medical malpractice coverage provided.

· Compensation to align with role & responsibilities.
