Job Summary:
The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC) and the Division of Hematology,
Medical Oncology and Palliative Care, Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin, is
seeking applicants for a full-time professor, associate or assistant level professor (CHS) hematologist, with a focus on classical (non-malignant) hematology to join our faculty. The research focus could include health services or clinical trial research.
The Division of Hematology, Oncology, and Palliative Care at UW-Madison includes 68 faculty, 31 Advanced Practice Providers, and 16 Fellows. The division's faculty lead cutting-edge basic and translational research programs in classical and malignant hematology, cellular therapy, cancer biology, cancer prevention and screening, and medical oncology.
Qualifications:
Clinical and research responsibilities with interest in benign hematologic conditions.
Experience in clinical, translational or basic science research, with a track record of successful publications in peer reviewed journals, strong written and verbal communication skills, evidence of excellence in teaching and current or high potential to obtain extramural funding. Through these efforts, the ability to enhance national recognition for our division and the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center.

ABIM - American Board of Internal Medicine Certification
Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and BE/BC in Hematology Oncology or Medical Oncology
Eligible or licensed to practice medicine in Wisconsin
