About this CT Surgeon Job Opening:

• Lovelace Medical Group: Multi-Specialty Practice
• Full-Time Employment (1.0 FTE)
• Inpatient/Outpatient Mix
• Join a team at NMHI of 22 physicians, 7 NP, 12 PA, & support staff of 100+
• Onsite ECHO, Vascular, Nuclear, CT Testing & 3 Procedure Rooms available
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Daily Patient Load: 16
• Rotating Call Coverage: 6am-8pm, no general cardiology night call
• EMR: Epic

Minimum Requirements:

• ABTS certified in thoracic & cardiac surgery
• Congenital Cardiac Surgery is preferred but not required
• Experienced and graduating cardiothoracic surgeons are encouraged to apply!

As long-term partners of Lovelace, we also provide electrophysiology and cardiothoracic surgeries for the University of New Mexico Hospital and are the only bridge and destination LVAD program in the state (18-24 implants this year), along with a service line dedicated to shock patients and advanced heart failure. Serving beyond Albuquerque, the New Mexico Heart Institute serves Eastern Arizona, Southwest Utah, Southwest Colorado, and West Texas, along with long-term agreements with the University of Utah and UT Southwestern CHF practices.
