Inova Children's Heart Center is looking for a dedicated Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider to join the team. This role will be full-time night shift from Monday - Friday.

Cardiology APP Job Responsibilities:
- Professional responsibilities will include daily rounds in the hospital to include the acute cardiac care inpatient service as well as NICU, CICU, PICU, and hospitalist patient consultation.
- Professional responsibilities will include evaluation and management of infants, children and adolescents in inpatient and outpatient cardiology settings.
- Support and work alongside the inpatient pediatric cardiology attending physician that leads this service and two additional APPs serving on this team.
- The candidate should have experience as an APP in the pediatric inpatient and/or Pediatric ICU or Cardiac ICU settings while possessing professional, clinical, and leadership skills.

- Although patient care is our primary focus, education and research are also encouraged and supported with access to dedicated research professionals including a statistician, research manager, and research coordinators.
Additional Requirements:
- Work schedule: Monday - Friday
- Education: Graduate of an accredited graduate school of nursing or physician assistant program with a master's degree
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of APP experience preferred. Pediatric cardiology or electrophysiology experience is preferred
- Certification: Licensed as an Advance Practice Provider (Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) and DEA as set forth by the state of Virginia. Certification with Pediatric Nursing Board (PNCB) for Pediatric Acute Care or National Commission on Certification oh Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for Physician Assistants. BLS, ACLS, PALS certification
